Description:NewLink Wales is a wellbeing charity with offices in Cardiff and Bridgend. The team offers projects for people in treatment for, and in recovery from, wellbeing issues such as substance misuse and/or mental health problems. Employability courses and peer mentoring are available, too. These projects and courses help people reconnect with their communities, rebuild their confidence and get their lives back on track. NewLink Wales is the preferred training provider for Cardiff and Vale APB, covering a range of topics for practitioners working in substance misuse and wider wellbeing sectors. The charity is an approved provider of the Drink/Drug-drive Rehabilitation Scheme (sometimes known as the `DASH` course), and the Bridgend office (formerly Ogwr DASH) also provides counselling and needle exchange services. NewLink Wales exists to build futures.
