Description:Action on Addiction is a charitable organisation offering comprehensive alcohol and/or drug related services which include the following: Services: Clouds House (Wiltshire) Six weeks first-stage abstinence-based residential integrated treatment at Clouds House, a registered nursing home, under the care of a multi-disciplinary team. Includes detoxification if necessary. Men & women from 18-75+ are treated for alcohol and/or drug dependency. Aftercare (Wiltshire & London) Former patients attend group meetings for a structured day and for a minimum of 12 sessions. Day treatment programmes (SHARP Bournemouth SHARP Liverpool) Working Recovery. Extended Care Facilities (Hope House in London) Female only Research & Campaigns in London Health Promotion (Wiltshire) Courses to industry, work with Probation Service & schools. Families Plus service. Help for family members affected by substance misuse of another, including brief residential family programme and M-PACT (Moving Parents and Children Together) a facilitated programme for children and substance misusing parents.
