Description:Department consists of: Inpatient services Day patient service Community Service Outpatients The client group normally aged between 17 and 65 years of age, consists of people with acquired brain damage with associated disorders with or without challenging behaviours. The service is an all Wales regional service and accepts referrals from across Wales. Staff consists of neuropsychiatrists and specialist nurses, (ward, day and community based) occupational therapies, speech and language therapist, Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Senior Psychiatric Social Worker, Physiotherapist. Referrals can be: GP, Hospitals, Mental Health Services, other health boards, user groups e.g. Headway & Neurole, Social Services, Forensic Services, Epilepsy Services, Legal Profession (e,g, solicitors acting for RTA victims etc.)
