Description:Veterans UK provides a range of `through life` support functions direct to both Serving personnel and the veterans community. These include Pay and Human Resource services for the Armed Forces, plus pensions and compensation schemes for those disabled or bereaved through service. A dedicated helpline and welfare service for veterans provides one-to-one support, in the home if needed. Services for veterans are provided under the brand Veterans-UK. It`s the first stop for veterans who need help and advice. The free Veterans Helpline 0808 1914 2 18 is the single point for accessing information. Polish veterans who served under British command in WW11 or were displaced from Poland during 1939-1945 may be eligible for long term residential or nursing care at the Veterans UK`s Ilford Park Polish Home in Devon.
