Description:Answer machine in operation Helpline is staffed by volunteers so may not be open all day every day. BAT offers information and support for those considering stopping their tranquilliser/sleeping pills and those who have succeeded in doing so. Also supports carers. They give presentations for professionals and voluntary groups. They make no judgement about whether tranquillisers are taken on prescription or illicitly. Referrals - Self Statutory, Voluntary.
