Description:There are local groups but they like people to contact the helpline number for up to date information. All groups are free and attendance is confidential. Some groups have disabled facilities. Al-Anon is worldwide and offers understanding and support for families and friends of problem drinkers, whether the alcoholic is still drinking or not. For details of meetings throughout the UK And Eire please contact the helpline. Alateen offers support for young people aged 12 - 17 who have been affected by someone else`s drinking. For Alateen meetings, phone the General Service Office on 020 7593 2070 A wide range of literature is available.
