Description:For Chinese people living with mental distress, their family and carers. Referral & signposting services, including emotional support, face to face counselling; telephone and skpe counselling also available. Face to face and other direct services mostly for people living in London Those wishing to use the Befriending service can be referred through their GP and their mental health practitioners. Self referral is also accepted when there is no key worker involved. However, Befriending clients must give consent for us to contact their medical professionals. Once a referral is lodged, a joint home visit or office interview will be arranged and a needs assessment and further clarifications of our service boundaries will be made.
