Platfform Wellbeing offers therapy online, over the phone for people accross the UK as well as face-to-face sessions in Cardiff and Swansea. Their team of compassionate counsellors can work with individuals, couples and children aged 7 and up. If you are unwaged there is also a low-cost service with student counsellors. Whether there’s a specific challenge you’re facing, or you just aren’t feeling yourself right now, our counsellors work with you in a safe, confidential space. Perhaps you are struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, bereavement, or experiencing distressing thoughts. Or you may be looking to move forward and achieve your goals. Our counsellors use many different types of talking therapies. These include things like cognitive behaviour therapy, or relationship counselling. If you’re not sure what type of counselling would be best for you, that’s OK – we start by working that out together. The first step is to book an assessment to find the right counsellor for you. We know how important it is to have the right therapist who understands you. Assessments are done by our lead counsellors, who have a lot of knowledge and know our team well. They’ll guide you through the entire process and pair you with a counsellor best suited to your needs. Usually, you can start counselling within days after your assessment. As well as English many of our qualified counsellors can speak a diverse range of languages including Bengali, German, Greek, Hindi, Norwegian, Polish, Urdu and Welsh. We are part of Platfform the charity for mental health and social change. All our profits are reinvested into Platfform to support community projects. Cost: Counselling sessions start from £60 and £30 for the initial assessment. We also provide a low-cost counselling service with student counsellors for £5 per session.
