Care For The Family has been supporting and encouraging families since 1988. Its family building events have been attended by over 275,000 people and many more have been helped through special initiatives - including stepfamilies, bereaved parents and those parenting alone. Founded by best selling author and speaker, Rob Parsons, the charity is committed to strengthening family life and helping those who face family difficulties. Puts bereaved people in touch with `Widowed Young` telephone befriender, a person who has been through a similar experience being widowed at a young age. They will offer friendship and a listening ear. Also has a Bereaved Parents Support with a befriender who can offer support having experienced themselves, the death of a child. Marriage, parenting, bereavement and family difficulties are the emphasis of this organisation.
