The YoungMinds Parents Helpline provides free confidential advice to any adult concerned about the emotional problems or behaviour of a child or young person up to the age of 25. The number is 0808 802 5544 (free from mobiles and landlines), and we are open weekdays 9.30am-4pm. Parents webchat available which is open 9:30am - 4pm, Monday - Friday Our trained helpline advisers can provide further information and explore callers` concerns. They can also arrange for a clinical mental health specialist to call parents and offer advice. Our experienced team includes psychologists, psychotherapists, social workers and psychiatrists. This service is free and confidential and the call can last for up to 50 minutes. It offers a good chance for callers` to talk through their situation, help them navigate what services are available and find the best support.
