Calls charged at local rate SAMM (Support After Murder and Manslaughter) is a self help support group offering understanding and support to families and friends who have been bereaved as a result of murder or manslaughter through the mutual support of others who have suffered a similar tragedy. SAMM offers telephone support, local voluntary support and training for professionals. We operate a self-help service allowing anyone and everyone to call us when it is convenient for them. Can liaise with other agencies on your behalf i.e. Police, Crown Prosecution Service, Probation Service etc. Signpost if necessary Run seminars and meetings to bring people together. Run non-religious retreats and art therapy weekends to help people work through personal issues and gain needed support. There is also a on line forum for members only
